HIRE AXOLOTL EXHIBITION ROOMS
The cost for hiring one of our exhibition rooms is £1,000 for a 3 week exhibition. The gallery will take 20% commission on all works sold to cover VAT and staff costs.
The room holds approx 20 works and they must be submitted to the gallery professionally framed with wire or string for our hanging system, we cannot use d-rings.
Work must be submitted on the Tuesday before the launch, prior to the exhibition please send us high resolution photographs with the name, price, size and medium for inclusion on our website - www.axolotl.co.uk.
We will provide staff to hang the work and we will also arrange the opening night preview, this is usually a Friday evening 6-9pm. We will promote your exhibition on our twitter and facebook and also use our large mailing list to invite local and international press contact and art lovers. Wine will be provided and staff on hand to serve and clear up after.
Exhibitions run for a minimum of 3 weeks, at the end of the exhibition the work will be removed and bubble-wrapped up by staff at the gallery, it must be removed as soon as it is ready as we do not have facilities for storing work.
Once a date has been confirmed we require a £250 non-refundable deposit and you will be send your artists contract, which should be signed at returned before the work gets hung.
